Business Undeclared

All first-year students admitted to the Gies College of Business begin in our Business Undeclared program. Students can explore all areas of study while working towards completing coursework in the Business Core Requirements, as well as General Education Requirements. The Business Core is a group of required coursework that all students in Gies College of Business must complete. Business Undeclared students do not need to complete the entire Business Core prior to declaring a major. After students find the best fit major for them, they will declare a major by no later then the end of their sophomore year. Once students declare a major, they will complete all remaining General Education and Business Core requirements, as well as the specific requirements for that major.

The General Education requirements reflect the most recent revisions for all Gies Business Programs which aligns with the campus grid/structure for general education requirements.
