History of Education Concentration

for the Graduate Concentration in History of Education


The History of Education graduate concentration is designed primarily for, but not limited to, students to specialize in the study of the history of United States education and developing an expertise in historical methodology and analysis in relation to the field of education and its complex and nuanced dimensions. The program offers a sequence of courses in the History of Education, including a critical analysis of Educational Movements in the Twentieth Century, Historical Foundations of American Educational Thought, and the Methods and Techniques of Historical Research.
