Master of Social Work in Social Work

A total of 44-72 hours of graduate coursework is required for the M.S.W. degree. Advanced Standing students (those entering with an accredited B.S.W.) are required to complete a minimum of 44 hours and can complete the program in 12 months. Those entering without an accredited B.S.W. need 64-72 hours and can complete the program in 16 to 24 months of full-time study. The determination of the number of hours needed within the range is determined on a case-by-case basis after considering each student’s prior coursework and experience.
