HBSE 401   Medical Knowledge I   credit: 3 Hours.

Uses a clinically focused framework and real-world conditions to provide a clinically relevant integrated understanding of functional human gross anatomy, microscopic anatomy (histology), and general embryology. This foundational knowledge prepares students to understand the structural and cellular concepts essential for future clinical study in the biomedical sciences and health professions. Enrollment in Medical Knowledge I alongside other courses in the Medical Knowledge sequence is not recommended, as the course content is designed to be cumulative and sequential. 3 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit.
